Pete M
With the Draft come and gone, and first day of Free Agency with many signings and trades...where do you rank the teams in the Pacific Division? Will the Canucks make the playoffs this coming year? LAST YEAR STANDINGS Edited July 1, 2019 by Pete M add
ItsMillerTime
I think most these teams will be worse because of their cap situation and maybe the teams what didn't make it a little bit better. So it will be a very close race again.

HockeyHarry
I don’t think 1st in the division is outa the question. But I’m a homer. 1 Canucks 2 Vegas 3 San Jose 4 Cowtown 5 Arizona
Alflives
We are going to get into the top three.
Kevin Biestra
Well, they look like a playoff team, but we'll see what happens when the rubber hits the road. San Jose should be worse than last year. Edmonton should improve.
fanfor42
Realistically the nux should finish 3rd or 4th in the Pacific. They should be better than LA Ana Edm and hopefully Arizona. That puts them 4th and possibly 3rd if SJ slides a bit due to losing some players.
24K PureCool
Feels like its gonna be a dog fight between us and Arizona for third in the division. Top two probably goes to Calgary and Vegas.

Pete M
Injuries or lack of injuries will play a part in the Canucks' success this year...if the injuries are minimized with the new improved "D" sharing more of the load and Miller gelling with EP40 and BB6, and Baer/Horvat/Pearson line connecting, then could be a good chance of displacing San Jose from the top 3 or becoming a wild card team...Leivo, Sutter/ Gaudette, JV line could also get more points with the better "D"...gotta believe this coming year is going to be good...even if another team shuts us down, our "D" now can shut down the other team as well. Calgary has gotten softer, Vegas has lost some depth, and San Jose has lost a lot of good players, Edmonton hasn't improved, LA is still old, Anaheim is rebuilding and turning over their roster...Arizona (other than the Canucks) may be the only team to have gotten better. Cocolocci
I guess, if we stay healthy we end in the top 3 in the pacific and we'll see playoff-hockey in April'20. 1
BCNeil
Calgary should make the playoffs, unless Talbot is just dreadful. SJ is hard to tell, they still need to fill a roster. They should be worse. Vegas still needs to manage their roster. They should be worse. Arizona....with kessel who knows. They should be around the same or some improvement. Canucks. should be a better team than last year. Oilers, anything is possible. Anaheim and LA both gonna suck.

Honky Cat
We lost every single game to Arizona last season..You dont deserve the playoffs if you cannot beat division rivals.

Canucks usually have spirited games against the Flames, but for whatever reason, seem to be 'up against it' against Arizona...If the Canucks have any playoff aspirations at all, they cannot go undefeated to Arizona..No ,and, ifs ,or buts.
