So much for tightening up defensively 40 shots Against  .......

demko looked good after he settled in. Team looked terrible for most of the first and played Well in small spurts.

zero response for Hughes and petey getting abused as per the norm.
sure hope toffoli finds a home here in van.
but a win and 2 points closer to the POs.

If Toffoli resigns for 3-4 years, it will be a win for us. He has been a perfect fit so far.

Let's hope it happens. Kinda wish we'd been able to throw a condition on the 2nd rd pick the way we did on the 1st with the Miller trade.

Oh well, him having success definitely ups the chance he resigns. Regardless of the assets given up, he makes our already pretty strong forward group that much better. Imagine how it'll look with Boes and Leivo back in the frey *drool*

A much younger, cheaper, less free-agent-after-the-season-ends version too.

Amazing. Say I still don't like the trade because of the assets given up, but praise the player, and get jumped on.

if you're always worried about the future, it'll never come.

Those are the most dangerous games. The Canucks better be ready for that one.

The Senators are playing spoilers at this point. The Canucks can not afford one game day off.

Of course. We haven't had an easy game against OTT since the Heritage Classic. They're playing for pride now and they always play us physically, perhaps even more so than the Habs.

More than anything, we must have a better start on Thursday. Playing casually at the puck drop has been this team's weakness for years and it's gotta be fixed in the next 20 games.

These slow starts... something in the collective routine that isn’t working. They look like they realize they’re playing a hockey game 5-10min into it.

The playoffs just won’t tolerate such early game lethargigia.

Is there even a spot for leivo??  Guy most definitely would have cracked 15 goals this year. What a problem to have. When is the least time we have had a team this deep? If only we got a crease clearing rugged dman. Maybe Tram??
