Might be one of the biggest free agency signings this year :D

Always nice to have experienced announcers call games :)

Agreed, but I'd still welcome him back if it meant never having to hear Randorf call another Canucks game

Yes! awesome news. Probably my favourite play-by-play commentator other than John Shorthouse.

Hopefully this means we will never have to listen to Dave Randorf make a complete mockery of his profession on HNIC.

His call on Markus Naslunds tying goal against the Flames in Game 7 was legendary.

Still gives me chills to this day!

Cant wait to hear him on call some of our games.

I think it was Matt Cooke. But Naslund did most of the work by driving to the net hard and Cooke put home the rebound.

Yeah, that was a great call:

“Debris on the ice and 15 seconds left. Iginla has the stick knocked out of his hand and he falls at centre. Naslund dashing in. 10 seconds left! Markus Naslund to the net. Stopped...scores! Scores! Matt Cooke cashes in! 5.7 seconds left! And they’re still alive!”

Brendan Morrison’s Game 6, 3OT goal was also a memorable one:

“Brendan Morrison! A silencer! And we will have game seven!”

Awesome news. Does this mean will we get either Hughson or Cuthbert on HNIC now? That would be awesome.

(Watch HNIC instead just turn one of them into a colour guy for the Leafs games)

Does this mean we'll actually get either Hughson or Cuthbert for HNIC games? It was honestly frustrating seeing Hughson only call Toronto games.

It sucks we didn't win that series. If the Bertuzzi and Moore incident never happened, we would've won that series in 5 games.

On one hand massive upgrade for hockey on Sportsnet But for CFL broadcasts it's a big loss
