    That's the price for a top tier D man under 21? Edmonton will now take 2 of them. Vancouver will...well, have CDC erupt in to whining and complaining the GM didn't do enough

    IF! True that Calgary could be getting Hamilton, if Edmonton does in fact get some decent goaltending and some solid D from Nurse/Musil and possible trade...Van is on the outside looking in this year

    While a huge fan and having the same desire as everyone else to gain multiple picks this year and draft yet again top ten and in the 20's....I'd chuckle a little if almost nothing happened and Canucks just walked up drafted 23rd and that was it.

    While it's incredibly early to ask and I know I will take heat for it. Is Keith a future hall of fame entrant? multiple gold medals, multiple cup wins, multiple norris wins and still in his prime. Is he a future hall of famer?

    Just let this sink in for a second. Pitts drafted MAF over Staal, and Staal over Toews. Pitts could have had a center depth of Staal Crosby Malkin and Toews. Let that sink in for just a second

    Ridiculous scenario Edmonton makes a trade into the top 5 and drafts Hanifin or Prorov to go with McDavid. Edmonton then offer sheets Hamilton at $5.75 million AAV 5 year term. Edmonton then signs McQuaid to a 4 million deal. Brings Nurse Draisatl and Musil into the line up What does Edmontons year look like???

      Not that unrealistic for the Oilers to land a top 5 pick if they want it. Arizona needs a C more than a D. Picks 3-5 are Hanifin, Marner and Strome so Arizona will only want Strome. I think Draisaitl > Strome, so EDM trades Draisaitl+33rd overall for 3rd overall. ARZ and EDM walk out happy.

    Without hesitation, congrats AV on yet another 3rd round appearance and possible SFC appearance again. You really weren't the problem and your record speaks for itself. Also, be fun to watch St Louis play against the Bolts, see if he's got a chip on his shoulder

    It will be interesting to see how the Habs fans and the media react to and treat Carey Price after this loss. I wonder if they'll treat him the same way they treated Luongo after 2011 or if they'll give him a shade more leeway in understanding that his entire team from D to Forward couldn't score to save their lives

      Why would they after the season he's had. They wasted his career season going out early in the playoffs. The blame from fans and media belongs on Bergevin, who didn't acquire at scoring at the deadline. Therrien should be fired his system sucks.

      Well...honestly I didn't think the media or fans were dumb enough to blame Luongo either. After the season they had in 2011 unsure why only the goalie got lambasted for the finals.
