Jost almost without question.  Kellers size scares me in the west.  Might produce back east but Gaudreau has an elusiveness I haven't seen in Keller yet

Interestingly, Tkachuk, Brown and Keller are all St Louis minor hockey products, pretty big year for St Louis hockey. I can actually see a scenario where the Oilers swap the fourth pick to St Louis (Tkachuk comes home) for D Colton Parayko (Edmonton boy comes home). It's not just a feel good story; it meets team specific needs. Oilers get a great young D and the Blues free up space to sign Kevin Shattenkirk AND add a great prospect. I think it's a win/win?

@smithers joe  I get that whomever we draft might not become a #1D for 3-6 years, if ever. If JB is actually thinking of moving prospects/picks for a top 4 it just feels like a complete waste. For Christ's sake, we have Edler( presumably), Hammer (maybe, maybe not), Hutton, Tanev, Tryamkin, Biega, Pedan, Bart, and Weber. The latter 2 are serviceable at best, but the others proved adept enough with the icetime they were given. 

Is it perfect? Far from. Obviously MacIntyre could be stirring up crap, but if JB does plan a move like this it had better not cost us exactly what it could cost. Picks and prospects.

@SedinMadness I agree with you, and having said that:

Aquilini, shut your mouth and let JB do his thing the proper way. This team found itself at the bottom after a miserable year of injuries and veteran no-shows. Don't force JB to sell out just when we are starting to get a prospect cupboard with actual prospects in it again.

Cap nil or potentially lowering depending on what the players do.  Already projected to be nil or potentially lower next year based off of the Canadian dollar.

Tossing $6 million or more at Eriksson (which he'll get or close to) is absolute lunacy no matter how you want to pretend it isn't guys.  Sorry  But that would be the single most crazy thing to do knowing cap space will be worth picks in itself next season

If we got rid of Burrows', Miller's, and Hansen's contract. I wouldn't mind signing Eriksson for 6M+.
