It made a lot of sense to draft Virtanen. And he's only 19. He has the full package; skill + speed + grit + power. Also he is gradually getting better with his play with and without the puck. We've seen glimpses of what he can do. Just wait!

i'd like to know why Gelinas although having good size and a good skill set has fallen into the doghouse in Jersey, something isn't right. Otherwise he'd be an attractive option. Severson however would be a much better option.

Severson would be to much of an ask, better to buy low before Gelinas puts it together again

I just find it laughable that every year this site labels every single prospect of ours a bust yet lauds every other prospect as some sort of next coming of Wayne Howe or Gordie Gretzky

It's definitely an indicator of whether or not a guy can step up in big games.  Toews was a standout for us in the WJHC, while Thornton played like complete trash.

Our prospects suck, just trade them all for better ones amirite?
