Rename CDC as "Vintage Canuck", and watch the mass return of users.

Annnnnd CDC continues to disappoint, with deleted threads AND still being open.

Welp, West Kelowna and now Kelowna are on fire.
The pictures and videos on Castanet are wild...
West Kelowna happened early today, or yesterday and spread like crazy. It has now JUMPED the lake into Kelowna, with people evacuating with zero notice.

Has anyone done a wellness check on Vintage?

Oh look, after the Canucks are penalized, the rule is modified... Shocking.

@Drive-By Body Pierce I'd also add that the trading of coaches for a 2nd round was changed after the Canucks benefited lol.

Nobody in Toronto wants to lose Matthews, but opening up so much more team depth from one of four very skilled forwards (likely with the best return) seems like something to take advantage of, if possible.
I never want to predict the Leafs to win, but with a big return for Matthews while addressing goaltending, they could be a true powerhouse, IMO.

@Playoff Beered Oh I have faith the Leafs will find a way to fail!
...I mean for the Leafs fans that were already planning the parade.

@goalie13 that may be correct but...
"Next year’s contract was not a problem to secure, it was the contract after that,” said Rick Dhaliwal when talking about the situation on Donnie and Dhali. “The Canucks and Pettersson’s agent want the next contract to be insured and the Swedish Hockey Federation said ‘can’t do it, won’t do it, it’s too expensive’. It costs them like $2-3 million in Swedish money. It’s too expensive.”

Hey look, a media person whining about how they lost media access to the Canucks. Not sure how this is going to help their "cause".

The report itself doesn’t really get what is going on.
Without more information it is hard to say exactly what is going on but the likely explanation given the number of surgeries and the PICC line is that he has had post op infection. Assuming they had to put some plates or other hardware in the hand initially, it is very hard to treat an infection around an implant. The PICC line would be there just for long term IV antibiotics.
One of the things to remember is superbugs like MRSA go around gyms and athletic facility like wildfire. These are often hard to treat and frequently will require long courses of IV antibiotics. If he got post operative infection a number of surgeries may very reasonably be done to remove hardware, drain infection, provide other types of support to healing structures such as external fixation.
While the external interpretation of this may be like Quinn said, a botched surgery, that is less likely to be the case. Complications sometimes happen unfortunately and a hockey glove is a nasty place to stick a wound.
Good luck to Pearson. Thought he was one of Benning’s better pickups, especially for what he cost and was under-rated on this board.

I would love to see a mass exodus from Twitter with users joining an open source platform like Mastodon!

Though I'm really not surprised, it's so laughable...
According to Initial reports from Toronto about Mitchell Miller being released, its really a story about how the Leafs beat the Bruins.
And now, with the goaltender injuries, The Toronto Maple Delusions are getting Jack Campbell back, apparently. Hah!
