  3. So long Tryamkin, god damn. :(

At least I've got the Flames sweep to console me.

  4. Someday the twins will be in the rafters and the hall of fame, and I'm gonna be tearing up. We've been spoiled having em.

I've thought this since Henrik won his Art Ross. They are two of the best puck moving players to ever grace the game of hockey. Brian Burke deserves eternal praise for realizing what they could be for Vancouver and doing what was needed to bring them here.

What they've done for this squad is nothing short of spectacular. I'll never understand how people underrate them so, they're surefire hall of famers by the time they're done on top of being humble, down to earth human beings. They almost lead us to a cup. Did we win? Unfortunately not, but they were and still are this teams engines.

I love Linden, Bure was a marvel, but they're the best Canucks ever IMO. We've been spoiled by their wizardry and people will realize that even more once they've retired.

  5. Suddenly I don't feel so bad about being shut out by Anaheim. 4-0. Ooof.

It's crazy, the west is so wacky this year. Everyone's still in it in the Pacific though Edmonton and LA are unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised to see the central teams take the wild card spots though.

Big time. For the life of me I can't remember the last time our 2nd line had such a low average age.

They've been doing it since December if you ask me. Especially Bo, Sven, and Hutton as far as the young guys. Now Virtanen and McCann will get more opportunities.

  11. What was CDC like during 2008?

  12. With cap decisions on the horizon which D prospects could you see in the lineup next year?

I could see us going the route of having one or more of Juolevi, Rafferty, Rathbone, Woo, and Tram cracking the lineup as opposed to dipping into UFA.

  16. After every Canucks game I make my way over to TSN and read the comments. Nothing like a bit of comedy after a hockey game.

  17. After posting a shutout Lack should have been rewarded with that game. Also, Matthias.. :(

our miller deserved to play....willie is the coach...

    2. Coconuts

      Coconuts

He is, but I'm of the opinion that the backup can steal a start with a great performance. Not because of the hot hand thing, but as an incentive for Lack.

    3. Coconuts

      Coconuts

One can argue he's got plenty of incentive as aprofessional athlete, but I'd certainly play harder as a player if I knew my performance was rewarded with playing time.

  18. Ahahaha.. your signature is awesome. Very nice.

  19. Ahahahaha! Poor Riders fans!

  20. Ahh well, it's a transitional year anyway. The bright spots include Lack's play, Stanton, Kassian, Tanev, and the play of our prospects. Richardson's been great too.
