alt kilgore
Wow. Almost (almost) feel sorry for Calgary. That's twice in a row. The obvious dominate team all year ends their season with another whimper.

This year it seems to be the opposite.
drdeath
Absolutely baffling play call but even worse was the decision to ever throw that ball. Unless you’re 110% sure I’m chucking that one out of bounds. I hate the Stamps but I honestly do feel bad for them.

canuck73_3
Can't believe Calgary lost 2 years in a row like that. Just dominant in the season and done in the Grey Cup like that.
Beary Sweet
Calgary's last play call made no sense. You're within FG range and down 3. Why not just kick it and tie it up and set it up for OT... gambling for the win this time around Kudos to the Argos. Nice comeback and congrats! Brad Marchand
Anyone looking for some quick schadenfreude should head over to CalgaryPuck. Hard to believe a team could win 28 regular season games over two seasons and win as many Grey Cups as the team that won 10 (Montreal). Hell, the team that won 14 games over that span has more Grey Cup wins.

The Stamps had they just managed to hold onto the ball probably would have made it a two-possession game. Instead, Jorden tries to be a hero and loses it on first down. They had the game totally in their control and blew it. That pick at the end was the cherry on top. Gurn
If Calgary gets rid of DD, which would be an overreaction, I'd like to see him here.

RUPERTKBD
Happy to be proven wrong. I didn't expect yet another huge choke by the Stamps, but hey, they've been pretty consistent over the past few years. The fumble was bad, but at least that was a physical mistake. Throwing that deep ball was right up there with Maas last week and Carroll in the Super Bowl 2 years ago....
Green Building
Oh, and there's this clip of McDaniel's effort on the same play that he's calling Jorden out for
DonLever
If there is a definition of "choke" when it comes to sporting events, this is it. Leading by 8 points with less than 5 minutes to go, within a few yards of making it a 2 score game, you fumble the ball away and let the other team score a touchdown to tie. Can't call it anything but a choke. On top of that, a questionable coaching decision to go for the touchdown and a win instead of a tying field goal certainly backfired. I suppose the poor field condition is one of the reason they tried for a touchdown instead. But they made a 39 field goal earlier so the % for a successful field goal is pretty high. Going for a touchdown to win instead of a FG is not unheard of, especially when there is time on the clock. Many teams do it. But the play was poorly executed. The QB should not have thrown in double coverage,
fivethej
Any chance Dickenson gets fired? He wouldn't be out of work long as Lions would be all over him.
Shift-4
lol Was in a pub when it happened. Had to snicker under my breath at all the weeping Stamps fans Not a Shania fan. Very happy to see she doesn't lip sync!
YummyCakeFace
This is just so BC Lions. Hire Hervey to be the gm and keep Buono as coach? Ridiculous. Now Hervey can be Buonos' puppet and do as he's told. Nothing will change. Same crap.
