SuperReverb2
Maybe the blue lines aren't as tall in Toronto as they are in Vancouver?
Gollumpus
Why wouldn't a team like Florida or NJ want him? They have no scoring, he would help both teams
Master Mind
I hope he gets signed. I'm from Ontario so Leafs games are always on TV, so it would be nice to at least watch a former Canuck play.

samurai
Hope he makes the team. It's a short shelf life for most NHL players and Raymond is an example. wish him the best of luck
CanucksSayEh
Would be happy to see him make the Leafs. Would get to see him a lot on tv. G'luck Mayray.
CB007
A few months ago I said after all the in-demand UFA stars are signed, there will be a pool of solid NHLers with no contracts sitting at home willing to take anything. Didn't think MayRay would be one of them.
Coconuts
A leaf uniform would look perfect on Raymond. No one is surprised when Maple Leafs fall in October.

DownUndaCanuck
Not much point in getting any more players unless they're trying to replace someone who will cost them more

CB007
I think we all knew this reality as soon as the CBA was signed. Agreed that I didn't think Raymond would be one of them. In fact, I think you could ice an all unsigned team right now that would be competitive enough to not finish last in the league. Raymond-Mueller-Brunner Cleary-Boyes-Prospal Morrow-Wellwood-Hedjuk Latendresse-Steckel-Larose Gagne/Daugavins Whitney-Kaberle Hainsey-White Zanon-Kuba Redden-Gilbert Thomas Bryzgalov It's certainly better than an expansion team. Baslund
I really liked Raymond's speed. And his release was pretty good. I have visited just one game (vs Habs december 2011, small sample size, I know ;-)) and he had a great wrist shot goal. It were the first games back after his broken back! I wish him all the best! He looks like a nice guy, without an attitude!
