Derp...
Sounds like we sucked. Did Bo also Suck? I feel like he probably didn't. Bet Sutter wishes he had some smarter players, ala Gaunce. Can't expect McDavid and Reinhart to compete against Swedens top 6, especially if they get Lindholm and Forsberg.

Sorta unnoticeable like everyone else apart from Paterson but he didn't make any big mistakes and threw a few hits. Good on the PK as well. Warhippy
The bottom line is you cannot win if your team does not skate only 4 players show up and you spend 5-10 minutes of each period on the PK Dumba 5 minute major, Pelech 2 minute elbow not 18 seconds later....come on

TheRussianRocket.
I bet you Sutter's having regrets on some of his cuts now That's what happens when a Troll runs your hockey team. Pretty much this

Bo was good in his own zone, on the PK and faceoffs (of course). Looks like Sweden identified McDavid as a threat because they were all over him all game. Sweden looked bigger, faster and more motivated. Goalie kept it from being embarrassing because it could have been a blowout early Sweden is already stacked without Forsberg and Lindholm
RUPERTKBD
Not that I'd wish injury on anyone, but maybe someone will get hurt and Hunter will be recalled. It happened with Evander and it looks like Canada could certainly use a sniper this year...
DeNiro
Canada has to play a whole lot smarter, and work a whole lot harder if they wanna beat this Sweden team. They need to play way more disciplined too because the refs were all over them today.
spliced
Disappointing game but Sweden are a very good team and even when Canada play well they could still lose to them. I really don't like seeing them shut out though, gonna need big things from Drouin as the tourney goes on.
Tortorella's Rant
lulz same results as the previous years. Except this game meant nothing fortunately..
Ghostsof1915
Is the Swedish strategy the right one? They put in a bunch of 17 year olds last year. Now they all have a tourney under their belt. And they look so much more dangerous.

Hedman
Gotta say this Burakovsky thing is just ridiculous. Canada made a huge story there, basically out of nothing. Too bad Gustav Possler will miss the tourney btw. 5th round steal for Buffalo.

DeNiro
Felix Girard is the final cut for Sutter. Not surprising really. This is the final roster for now barring any injuries or suspensions. Changes can be made right up until Christmas day.

-Vintage Canuck-
Sweden is that good.. Keep in mind they are playing without Filip Forsberg and Elias Lindholm... Johnson - Wennberg - Collberg Forsberg - Lindholm - Burakovsky Just a disgusting top 6.. The Predators have loaned Filip Forsberg to Team Sweden for the 2014 WJC. He joins a stacked Swedish squad that includes 11 returnees from last year's silver medal team.
