Noble 6
Tryamkin has looked pretty good so far. I would like to see him in a slightly reduced role next year though. Let him adjust to the speed of the NHL slowly. It will be interesting with Biega, Tryamkin, Pedan and Larsen fighting for 3 spots next year: Edler - Tanev Hutton - UFA Tryamkin - Sbisa Pedan - Biega Larsen Hopefully we can get Larsen in Utica on a 2-way contract. SilentSam
Absolutely love this YOUNG man's game.. He has adapted to the NA Ice size in short time. Around the 6:50 mark of the 3rd period tonight he put the "head fake hit" on Hossa, Hossa completely opened up and backed off the puck. And Shaw didn't know what nailed him down to the crusty crease ice. Looks like Nik will be working on "Beast Mode" next He looked great on that pp in front of the net,. Have NO idea why WD took him off after that short shift? IMO Nik has made the club next year,. He surpasses what Chara could play like at 22. Nik is here to create a long lasting career of his own, and I'm sure some of the hockey we will see from him will be legendary itself.

Interesting, will try to find it later... Reposted here. This is really interesting news since Tryamkin has not been considered the top defenseman in the KHL and never been interviewed by Russian national TV... Shows a lot of confidence and that he knows how to take advantage of his size without even having to take the body. So much raw talent, hope it all comes together for him. canuckledraggin
^ the intimidation factor alone is a huge advantage for him. That was such a clever play, separating the man from the puck with a fake body check and then just taking the puck with a smart stick. His stickhandling continues to impress. Tre Mac
Glad NT is looking good but our D-core still needs a lot of work. Tanev, Hutton, and NT are the only ones I want to keep and build around.
Rex425
Looks great out there. You can argue that he's been our best defenseman since he came here.

He could be a beast if he's willing to do the work off the ice.

An Angry Tryamkin could be a bad thing for the other team...Hopefully he isnt a big softy and actually gets pissed off
