I think if Baertshci reaches his potential, he could possibly be on the same level as Vanek; extremely inconsistent, but has plenty of natural ability. Yeah I don't see the Shink and Baer comparisons. Virtanen is way more physical than Okposo.

Noble 6
Horvat = O'Reilly: Probably a better comparison than Bergeron. McCann = Modano: I think it's too early to say McCann is THAT good. I feel like McCann plays a similar game to Krejci; both are smart, pass first type players. The main difference is McCann has a laser shot that he knows how to use as well. Virtanen = Perry: Perry's hands and hockey IQ are both better than Virtanen. Virtanen could be an elite player like Perry, but not in the same way. Just because they are both big doesn't mean they play the same way. If Okposo was faster, I think he would be the perfect comparable for Virtanen. Boeser = Hull (lite): Ultra, ULTRA lite, then sure. I feel like Boeser is being overhyped right now because of how well he's doing. I'm not saying he's bad, just that we shouldn't have our expectations so high. In the NHL, defenders aren't going to give him the same time and space that he's getting right now to get the shot off. He's still very capable of scoring 30 goals in the NHL, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves here. I'd say Sharp is a more accurate comparison than Pavelski though. Baertschi = Vanek: Good if Baertschi turns out. If he does, he will probably still be inconsistent, like Vanek. But he will also have a tremendous amount of natural ability, like Vanek. Shinkaurik = Gallagher/Skinner: Shinkaurik is the hardest one. I would say that he has Gallagher's compete level with Skinner's offensive ability. He might not be as good as that sounds, but that's kind of what he plays like. So redoing it: Horvat = O'Reilly McCann = Krejci Virtanen = Okposo + speed Boeser = Sharp Baertschi = Vanek Shinkaurik = Gallagher/Skinner X 0.

Ihatetomatoes
So far I like: Horvat - O'reilly McCann - Krejci (comparing players to hall or fame players is kinda silly) Virtanen - E. Kane Boeser - Couture Shinkaruk - Zuccarello? Baertchi - T. Johnson? (I don't see the vanek comparable at all. Vanek is a big goal scoring guy while Baertchi is a small playmaker)
DeNiro
We'd be lucky if either turned out anything close to Bergeron. Bergeron scored 30 goals and 73 points at age 20. I don't see that level of offense in Horvat or McCann. At least not until maybe their mid to late 20's.

The twins are too good for comparisons! That, and it's hard to compare 1 prospect with 2 players practically joined at the brain....

Ideally, the Hodgsons, Schroeders, and Jensens (I'm not convinced Jensen will me it at all) should be in the lineup by now. I guess having a theory is just that: having a theory. Grabner could have been helping us as well (albeit in a non-consistent way probably lol) I think our future looks brighter though. We're actually seeing change for once.
