Guest
AAV? A high-risk, high-reward move for the Habs. Could be just what Semin needs.
HKSR
For some reason, I picture a lot of Habs fans making the face in your signature pic due to this signing (whether it's good or bad).
Chris
Oh wow. The fans in Montreal are going to rip him apart.

Warhippy
Say what you want, Montreal is the exact atmosphere this guy wants and needs. He is a high profile player who will thrive in a high profile environment. Can you see him potting 30+ this season? I can. he will want and need a enw longer term contract after and Montreal is the place for him to do it in

Kaner
For everyone who thinks we Montreal came on top of the Kassian deal... Maybe we won in the end!

R3aL
Be interesting to see if he can revitalize his game. Talent is there.
bigbadcanucks
Well, there goes my dream of the Canucks unloading Vrbata to the Habs for their two second round draft picks in 2016...guess the Habs decided one euro-ghost in the playoffs is just as good as another, especially when cap hit is 1.1 vs. 5.0. Ghostsof1915
Montreal fans are going to savage this guy unless he changes his work ethic.
Jaku
I think if Semin can find himself and play hockey like he used to in Montreal the fans will love him. But he is a high risk player because of his past, unfortunately he is a very lazy hockey player... But if he finds his form again this team will finally have another winger that can score more than 15 goals besides Pacioretty and Gallagher. This could be a good add. but it could also be a bust. KeslerPlaysLikeACanadian
He may score, but backcheck.... As a pseudo-Habs fan I was hoping for Sharp. Bit of a downgrade.
apollo
AAV? A high-risk, high-reward move for the Habs. Could be just what Semin needs. I'd say extremely low risk, high reward. 1.1 is nothing.
TOMapleLaughs
So instead of finding ways to motivate Galchenyuk to perform better in big games, they bring onboard the most lethargic Russian in the league to ruin him? Stupid move, even at that salary.
CALGARY!
I'd say extremely low risk, high reward. 1.1 is nothing. Yeah not much risk at all for 1 year at 1 mil, low risk high reward, I think he'll thrive in Montreals system. Wouldnt surprise me at all if he finishes next season at 50 points, then takes a big raise/extension
TheRussianRocket.
Montreal can use all the offense they can get. Bargain signing and can pay off bigtime.
