Bet you this is one of those moves they'll say we get a guy further in his development but it makes no sense giving up a promising player in Shink who grew a lot in the A this year for a NHLer who's done nothing. I can understand trading Shinkaruk, what I don't understand is the desire to get another dimunitive centre that shows no signs of being able to play top 6. At least use Shink to get a defensive prospect or pick. Granlund will be on a one-way contract next year... what are the Canucks going to do with him?
