So...Horvat has turned into Hodgson somehow?

Aside from a similar skating style and slick passing they are quite a bit different really.

Horvat's extra 15 Lbs. should help him make a quick transition to the NHL and help him stay on the ice and not get banged up as easy as Hodgy.

Hodgson is not a bad player. As long as he want's to stay, we're good.

oh, and i did manage to find out there was no injury at the world juniors, just a bit of a "stinger" from a shot he blocked.

Good to hear it wasn't more serious than that. Hoping he tears it up and the Knights go into the MC actually playing well. It's no fun when the home team is just there by default and not actually playing well. It's not that they can be out early so he can come play for us anyway.

Lol I had a good laugh from that for some reason.

How's Bo doing since coming back from the world juniors?

Nice to hear he wasn't hurt as speculated.

He, and many others have been getting back into the groove of things again. One thing i noticed is that he's less productive lately is that he is less productive with Domi, as he's often cleaning up from his mistakes. Putting him with Tierney and Rupert is great, or Anderson. imo, comparable to Higgins-Horvat-Booth/Hansen. solid third line

Scored a nice tip-in goal tonight, in a losing effort. Created a few chances, but nothing more would get past Paterson. like last night, horvat almost had to help the ref take max off another player he was fighting.. he can get good bounces when domi is with him, but defensively max will drag him down with him.

He looks like a much better skater on the north american size ice. Maybe it's just his comfort level. His quick hands and thinking are much more of an asset in the tight quarters of the smaller surface as well.

anyone notice Max Domi's monster production came to a complete stop when Horvat came back to the team?

Not only that, The Knights were unbeaten since Zhadarov , Patterson, Horvat left for the world Juniors. Domi averaged 3 points per game. They come back, all of a sudden their not scoring as much, and have already lost several times.

Jake Patterson did not go to the World juniors. He is often confused with Jake Paterson who plays for the Saginaw Spirit, who did play for team Canada at the World juniors. As for Horvat and Zadorov returning, its just coincidence the team is struggling. As for Domi, now that the Knight's argubly best player is taking more icetime away from Domi.

The thing with Domi is that he plays a very reckless game. While he scores alot, he'll also cost them many goals in those same games. He plays best when he's the centre of attention on the team.. there's a pattern of that
