The guy was one of the factors that caused many outside of Vancouver and many inside to disrespect the Canucks. His mouth constantly wrote cheques his fists couldn't honour. His scoring was almost non existent and he constantly took bad penalties. The guy was a clown. You have to say it is almost a miracle we got to the final with that dope in the line-up. At last we are rebuilding this team with class and physicality and some of you want to see a guy like Lapierre back here. Unbelievable! Not sure if you've ever played hockey before but Lappy is a player everyone hates playing against. He can throw players off their game, he's very fast, chippy and can win face offs. He also fought when he had to. Not sure what more you expect from a 4th liner. Burrows was the biggest reason everyone hated the Canucks, guess we should get rid of him? Not sure if you have played the game either because if you had you would know Lappy tactics don't work against good players. Maybe against rookies but good rookies soon learn to ignore it - until the inevitable cheap shot and then they usually can't catch him. He was a guy who would never be in my team, a guy who dirty hits and hides. They hate playing against Lapierre because he's a rat not because he puts them off their game. He makes Ferland look like a star. and again.

Raymond Luxury Yacht
Lappy is one of the reasons the Canucks became such a hated team. He suits a team with a fan base better suited accept the hate without getting their panties in a knot. I hope he makes it, I like his effort, but I wouldn't want him back. We have a better Lappy, we have a Burr.

Seriously people, it's time to let it go. But I think Lapierre has something to offer still in the NHL, it's just whether the price fits and if teams have younger options they want to use instead. canucklehead80
Good luck to Max. Really enjoyed him when he was here, Especially that first season. Really loved his agitator role before he got a little carried away. Hope he can make the most of this opportunity whether it's with the Rangers or showcasing himself for another team. Grape
Hahaha it seems like some of the biggest goals In Canucks history were all scored by despised players-Lappy, Torres, Cooke, Bieksa, Kesler, Burrows.

zombieksa
I loved Lappy. Wanted him AND Richardson to sign in 2012(13?) as opposed to just one. Would have been a great one two punch up the middle for the bottom 6. Hope he makes it and we know that AV loved him. We will see.
