It was on video...it was confirmed by Weise...maybe you're talking about another time a threat was issued?

There's video of them in the handshake line. No audio. So it's still hearsay. Weise had to tell the media what was said

The league is sending one of their monkeys here to talk to the Canucks - they seem concerned about player safety.

Too bad they didnt take player safety seriously enough to suspend the player that administered a predatory and blind sided hit on Daniel Sedin.

you noticed it all started on his hit on Krug who is smaller than Stecher.

Not condoning it; but if you want to dance with the big boys, you go after their star players; Most teams will defend the star player by challenging those who mess with the stars. I'm hoping the Canucks rise to the occasion; however, MM is no pussy cat and is force to reckon with.

If by that you mean Martin is the knife and Chara the gun, yeah, you nailed it finally.

Nope, just bringing out the fact that MM can fight, and the Canucks know it...so the Canucks heavy weights need to step up just like Chara did...not their light weights.

whatever.

who said anything about lightweights?

you seem to be ducking the fact that Martin was less than willing to deal with the consequences of running Krug.

pump Martin's tires all you want, but there's nothing "enforcer" about jumping lightweight rookies.

Show me an old school enforcer that stooped to that - and then avoided the opposition's toughest.

There's nothing to pump about that, whether or not the guy can fight.
