To WPG: #24

To CBJ: #13 and 3rd rounder (2019) ???

Did WPG just get fleeced? lol

CBJ to Vegas 24th overall for the condition LV doesn't take Johnson, Anderson or Korpisalo

Vegas then sends the 24th overall to WPG for the 13th overall and 3rd round pick with the condition that vegas doesn't take Enstrom.

This really makes no sense to me at all. CLB makes out like bandits here. There has to be a guy WPG sees falling that's better than who they'd take at 13? I really can't make sense of it. Drop 11 spots in the 1st round for a 3rd?

CBJ trade 24th to Vegas to not take a certain player. Then WPG trade 13th and 3rd round to Vegas for 24th and Vegas won't take Tobias Enstrom

Dear Winnipeg Jets and Cheveldayoff

Drop 9 spots in the draft, keep their LHD and Marko Dano. Lose Thorburn.

They literally lost nothing. A non contributor.

Think McPhee and the Knights did a good job assembling this roster with an eye on the future.

Lots of people complaining they got too much...

For 500M $$..they deserve at least what they got...and all teams were handsomely compensated for losing 1/15-20th of their roster.

Plus, as said in another thread....don't want a crap team introducing the game of hockey to a new market.

im glad we didnt offer the world to protect a player. some of these teams paid way to much to keep their guy.

wonder how many players will leave citys that left them exposed when their contracts up.

Pitt traded their 2020 2nd rounder to Vegas

sid will be what 34-35 then?  smart move to delay it until either his window shrinks or they got more depth for sid the veteran kid.

Yes, allegiances might have been hurt somewhat. Players know where they stand in the pecking order on their respective teams.

With us it's time for a prospect to step up and take a spot in the line up.

What's with these 2019 and 2020 draft picks being traded?

2018 is supposed to be a strong and deep draft year, so very few teams (if any) are willing to take a chance with moving a 2nd or 3rd rounder in 2018.
