Don't really like the choices there. How 'bout Dorsett had surgery, feels great and is playing like a man on fire, proving to everyone that he can still play in this league. I don't recall him ever being this impactful. Makes me wonder how long he's been playing with pain before his surgery.

Sutter is underrated.   He plays big minutes and those are responsible minutes.   He isn't flashy so for some reason people don't see the value the guy brings.    Good player and will be a nice piece of the Canucks for a few more years as they work on integrating the new players/system.

Dorsett has always played this way.. speed grit straight ahead game. He's always had the speed to get chances he's just finishing and getting the bounces.

I will say that Green's system and his utilization of that line is on point. He has Granlund, Dorsett, and Sutter each in a designed role. No more Sutter on the PP!

Also helps they play 15+ minutes a night but that line is legit and is shaping up being one of the better checking lines

Sutter does his job well  - the 3 combined are  are a hard working shut down line with  the abilities to put up points. Hoping Granny can pot a few more but they are playing a role where it is hard to do on a shift to shift basis.I think our 4 lines  are working out well - who woulda thunk??

Look who the low  forechecker is on that line of Granny / Sutter / Dorsett...

It's almost always DD. The other two being so responsible leave him free to chug down the ice and launch himself into other players, strip pucks and generally be a nuisance to the other team - and get points as a result.

It's a very good way to do it; DD does what he does absolutely best, and the other two are key components of that not only in helping him do it, but the reverse is true as well - they aren't expected to shoulder the heavy physical load as much, and thus can focus more on the shutdown aspects of their game. Sutter is not a 'great' hockey player in any sense, but he's consistent and steady. And when you're looking to shut down the Ovechkins, the Mcdavids etc... that's what you want. Those guys feed of excitement and loose play, where their skills and speed can overtake a good form. So if every time they go near a puck or the zone, it's going to result in getting hit and having no space, it gets them frustrated and off their game. And we win games like that.

Not sure where the idea of a "revival" came from... production-wise it's not like he's ever kept this pace throughout an entire season, good for him for having a hot streak but let's not suddenly think he's the next franchise guy or whatever.

That being said, health-wise it is great that he's back to being his aggressive, agitating self when many (myself included) prematurely wrote him off when he went down with injury.  To further complement him, as others have mentioned, it's great that his line-mates play such responsible styles that he can be himself, and what each one brings enables the unit to gel as a whole.  So with regards to being a strong unit, it's definitely great to see where they are with such great chemistry, and let's just enjoy it while it lasts.

Yet many ppl wanted to chuck Dorsett and Sutter to the curb after last season. Right now, they sure seem like money well spent and are delivering what they were advertised to bring.

Hi PhillipBlunt. Is Rocksterh8 an eight year old kid posting on the CDC?

He's six years old? Really?

When you make ridicules comments, are shown  how ridicules it is, and you have nothing to back up your comment, you turn to putting down the person that made you realize how ridicules your comment was. I know who the kid is on here.

That package is 9 Mil per year for 3 and 5 more years....who in their right mind is taking that package. Get real man.

Canadiens have tons of cap space, and Bergevin is going to be desperate to keep his job. And they need scoring help

It's ridiculous, not ridicules.

Sutter is playing within his means ...most nights....he isn't trying to stick handle to the net...or anywhere for that matter....just hound the puck...get the puck...move the puck....rinse and repeat....if he could only hit the net with that ( hard....but ) shot...and when he does hit the net it's a gut shot for the goalie to swallow.

Greener has him playing the way he should and Dorsett get's away with his roaming around for hits or shots....because he has gotten away with it and scored goals...we will see if he can keep that up or if those 2 go back to the core of a real (lower minute) 4th line....as long as they keep a skilled shooter with them they may just keep it going...

You've gotta give both Sutter and Granlund credit.  I remember the first goal DD scored vs BUF and that goal doesnt happen if Sutter doesnt win his battle and get the puck to DD for the goal.  That line is all about chemistry, and Im just happy DD is FINALLY capitalizing on his chances
