Good luck to Olli.

With the skill of the surgeons the team can call on, and the efficacy of these types of procedures, and when you factor in his youth, there is every chance he will make a 100% recovery.

May wear a light brace for the rest of his career, but hundreds of NHLers have done the same without their mobility being affected... this is not 1970 and not Bobby Orr with his grossly mishandled injuries.

Posters suggesting his career is over or that he is a write off are just showing a lack of knowledge.

I guess James Benning has a poker face after all:

...or perhaps he isn't a physician.    Chances are the rehab wasn't progressing like they thought it should be so they sent him for MRI and found something - given the timeframe for recovery it sure sounds like either MCL or ACL.   He had a good start to his North American professional career but this timing sucks for him as he was probably almost certain to get NHL games come the New Year and after the TDL.   Oh well, it happens and he can now add his name to the long list of guys with "the scar" which you see in dressing rooms all over the world.   Like the TJ scar in baseball, it is all too common.

Didn’t like passing on mt at the time and it just keeps looking worse and worse . One of bennings bigger blunders. Oh well hope he has a good recovery we need him to make the show .

Look at the character showed by Brock, Petey, and Bo.  Character matters and that dirtbag has no place on any respectable franchise.  You think he's be able to stay out of the penalty box for us in the playoffs when Sutherland gets airlifted in to rig a series?

There is no way his garbage would fly here.
