Virtanen is still unproven, Stecher is alright, but Barrie is an established elite offensive dman, this trade would be a no brainer if Jake and Troy were the only two pieces they want, hell throw Tanev in there too, he's injury prone as heck. I felt same when first heard the rumour this morning but it's not easy to get a top pair RD who can walk the line and run a PP. Barrie type player is Canucks #1 need. They desperately need a player like him. Virtanen we love because it's an emotional attachment. He likely tops out as middle six winger.
