TNucks1
always liked granny, but i think it was a good time to move on from him.
Solinar
I hope Granlund has a good year, and regains his scoring touch....just not vs us. The kid is a really good role player, and plays to what he is told to do. As a winger on that team, it isn't beyond the pale to expect a 20 goal/15 assist season from him, which is basically making him the best winger in the bottom 9....on the oilers. 1

The Lock
Just now, sonoman said: Seattle next? Would make sense. He'd likely be unprotected come expansion draft. lol Then he could say he was traded by one, signed by another, and then claimed by the 3rd.

BlueDragon23
Good luck to you Granny. I hope your career doesn’t flame out like so many players that go to Deadmonton. It was definitely time for us to move on and he probably needed a fresh start. All the best buddy.
Coconuts
Surely he could have caught on somewhere that wasn't Edmonton I'd wish him the best but he's in Edmonton so that's unlikely
Shift-4
Exactly the kind of player Edmonton needs
MeanSeanBean
Great player who fell victim of the youth movement. He always did anything that was asked of him, and never seemed to complain. Always liked Granny and wish him the best, even on the Oilers (not like they are much of a threat anyways) @Cramarossa you holding up ok?

GB5
All the best for Granlund,.....he will likely be in their top 9 somewhere and be a regular player.
oldnews
Gonna call it now. canuck73_3
I like Granlund but with our logjam something had to give all the best finishing behind us in Coil country
*Buzzsaw*
Sorry to see Granny go... but perhaps for the best, we need to make room for the new guys. Granlund was a solid dependable player who fit in up and down the lineup. A lot of people complain about him, but he did exactly what was asked of him and did it well. He's an upgrade for the Coilers... too bad they don't deserve him.

He can ‘help’ our division rival I’m sure he will, he is a sound defensive player and lord knows the Oilers can use some more of what he brings. Now, if only we can help somebody with Eriksson... DarthMelvin
It was a matter of time. Granny had flashes of game but mostly he was just on the roster.
