BPA
Hughes looking good but he needs to get on the scoresheet if he wants to stay in the Calder race.
aliboy
I realize we pulled it out but for much of the game it looked we just got up and hadn't had our coffee yet.
Popular Post Knucklehd
Wow, what an effort, what a game! Taking down the defending champs from a 3-1 deficit in their barn?!? F'ing Fantastic! Boys should be hyped and proud of that gutsy performance! 1

At 3-1 the Blues were all laid back on the bench yukking it up like they had it in the bag. Looks like we got the last laugh tonight!
Popular Post luckylager
Holy $&!# CDC. So many good things are happening for us. The kids are awesome. The UFA's and trades are looking very very good and nobody has to complain about Loui anymore. Best stuff in &^@#ing ages and it feels so nice! So much love I missed the first two periods because of that stupid, evil necessity we call work. Side order of good news - I can watch the first two periods right now, and I'm going to. I'll probably watch the whole damn thing actually. Third and OT was just awesome. These guys won't just roll over! I love these kids so much. We've got a very legit future to look forward to. So many good feelings right now. Yay! 5 6
Popular Post Petey Castiglione
First time since the 2010/11 team I felt confident we could come back from down 2 to win, in the third no less. There's something special developing with this team and it's damn exciting!
Popular Post TheJoker
Good come back win, haven't posted in a long time. But dear God please get rid of Newell Brown, that was some atrocious PP. The guy has been drawing up the same plays since the sedins success made his resume. Literally Willie D could draw up a better PP. Please dear God benning do something. That is all /rant 2

You're right: gutsy comeback.
SergioMomesso
Hughes held his own down low against that heavy group of forwards. I am not concerned with who he’s matched up against. I can’t wait to see what he can do in his prime. He’s the type of player who’s prime will start earlier and end later in his career.
Ray_Cathode
And DiPietro was excellent winning his first AHL game in Utica. Silovs is having an excellent start. Life is tough.

I don’t think anyone would argue we played our best. However it’s very encouraging to pull out a win even when we play less than our best. That’s what good teams do. 1
PuckFather
Suck it Leafs. This is called a back up goalie, nearly as good as our starter.

GB5
I'm liking the wins this season and how they get them. Much like the great teams earlier this decade they just win, its not always pretty but the 2 points sure is.

I know but probably best if TD doesn't have to play 3 games in 4 days. Popular Post -DLC-
What I truly loved was how they took it to them in 3 on 3. Beast mode. Blues barely got a whiff until the time wound down and they got desperate. But Petey was DETERMINED. How hard he skates back and mucks up a play of theirs. Blocks shots. Quinn's a magical gnome. I feel like Boes is in there like a dirty shirt. Captain Bo's team means business. I could go on and on about all of them, really. Demko. What we clearly lack in PP coaching we have in goaltender coaching. Wow. This team starts slow but maybe they just know how to pace themselves better than the other teams? King Leivo. The End. 3

And those back passes lol... and Edler on first pp when Hughes is available. They are now consistently better at getting chances on the rush when they are on the pp, rather than after they set up. Just awful. 1

Popular Post -Vintage Canuck-
"Resilient effort tonight. Weren't at our best the first two periods, got a big penalty kill and we hung in there... found a way to win... It wasn't a clean game for our group tonight. Didn't think the passing game was clean. But man, you aren't going to complain about a gutsy win like that." - Green
