How many times can he pull out a rabbit out his rear end like he did vs NYR The team completely stopped playing. They were headed for the showers before they came out for the 3rd. Coaches as well. Why didn't Green pull Marky when he was clearly fighting the puck. Everyone goalie on out to players to coaches packed it in thinking it was over after 2 periods. It's OK though. Young team. It's a learning experience. Teams have to learn to win and this was a very good learning moment for them. And they got a point vs a legit Stanley Cup contender. They checked pretty tightly and held the Caps to 6 shots in the 3rd. They were still skating hard. The D's timing was just a tenth of a second off on Kempny's two shots. They blocked Markstrom from seeing the puck and didn't manage the blocks. 9 times out of 10, either the D makes contact or Markstrom stops those.

Jam126
This falls on Green. Can't prepare the team to play a 60-minute game for 5 games now. He should've called a timeout at 5-4 or even pulled Markstrom. We lost because we stopped playing, and Green did not do anything until it was too late. 1

Qwags
Marky has bailed this team out so many times this past season. Shame they couldn't return the favor this one time.
Popular Post -Vintage Canuck-
"It's a learning experience just like with the Rangers, we talked after the game when they made their push in the third to trust [our game]. It's something that is learned, it doesn't just come, especially with a bunch of new guys. We obviously are disappointed with the loss tonight and are not happy with it, we've already had a meeting, we addressed it. It's things that we have to learn from and get better as a group. It's not just one guy, it's everyone. We have to make sure we stick to our system, and that we stay on teams and we stay on our toes and continue to go after them. When teams raise their level, we also have to raise our level, and you saw that today and you saw it against the Rangers too. In the third period they raised their level and we kinda stayed the same. So we have to make sure that we learn to raise our level and put teams away, and that's something that is learned. It's something that you can only learn by going through it." - Beagle 1 2
Dr. Crossbar
This one stings for me. My buddy is in town at the game and he's an obnoxious Bruins fan. Just don't know how they keep getting the last laugh and more reason to glout and make fun of us. The good guys have to win at some point!!!

We were still on the PP, but Green couldn't read what was happening with the momentum shifting.
Toyotasfan
At least 2 Caps goals resulted from a blatant penalty resulting in a turnover leading to a goal.
BlueDragon23
We imploded in the third, and that hurts. No excuses for blowing a 4 goal lead despite some poor officiating. Shows that We still have a lot to learn. Hopefully this is a wake up call and a lesson that the Canucks cannot sit back in the third; they did that against the Rangers and fortunately Marky was on that night and got us the win. This time, Marky had a poor game and couldn’t bail us out. This will leave a bitter taste in my mouth for a while. But sometimes you have to learn the hard way.
