He has only lost 2 games in 14 starts since Korpisalo went down. And our boys get to play the Jackets twice in 8 days in a few weeks.

I don't think Merzlikins will be able to sustain his current level of performance for long period of time. 3 shootouts in 5 games is nice, but eventually he will cool down

We only make rookie goalies making their first starts look good. Lol. Edited February 8, 2020 by rekker

Vegas (in LV) and Boston were hist first two of the 5 shutouts, so it's not like he's been hot against teams like Detroit the whole time. Won't mind though if he gets a couple shutouts in between our two games, while they visit Alberta
-Vintage Canuck-
John Marino will be out indefinitely with a broken jaw in three places and will require surgery after taking a Stamkos slapshot.

Korpisalo has been skating and their goalie coach Legace assured last month that Korpisalo was their starter. Interesting decision ahead for CBJ. Tortorella has been trying to keep the hype down in his pressers. Seems like that train has left the station. The building is chanting his name and those jump hugs. Such a fun goalie to watch. Good for CBJ after losing so many players in the off-season.

Bruins win 4-2. Meaning a win tonight over the Flames would give us a 6 point cushion between us and 4th in our division.

Before the Hall trade the Coyotes were top of the division with a winning percentage over 60%. Since the Hall trade they have fallen to fourth, and have a winning percentage of 45%. Sure hope they keep Hall, and sign him to a big fat contract extension. 1

I.Am.Ironman
The Coyotes and Taylor Hall is certainly a peculiar outcome far from what was expected. By all accounts he should have improved that team, not made them worse.
