Burr just has more class than to dwell on something so meaningless in his career.  Ron tried but got proven wrong.  He deserves every bit of it.

 

I don't dwell there either, but less Ron is the best Ron for me.

Fun fact: Burr's parents hate Ron as much as you (and all of us) do.

The parents of Vancouver Canucks winger Alex Burrows have written a letter of complaint to the CBC regarding Ron MacLean's story on their son.

 

"I thought it was a verbal assassination," Alex's father Rodney said in a telephone interview from his Montreal home. "There was no journalistic balance whatsoever. It was just a verbal assassination. There was no chance for Alex to defend himself."

 

And while MacLean made it very clear in his story that he does not believe Alex Burrows' assertion that referee Stephane Auger threatened him with payback before a Jan. 11 game against Nashville, Burrows' parents have no doubt their son is telling the truth.

 

"Alexandre told the truth, he's a very straight guy, he felt something happened, he told the truth," Rodney Burrows said. "We're very upset by what happened."
