Not a 'Must Win' at all.

The Canucks could lose tonight and would still control their own destiny in regards to a playoff spot.  It's just that each loss reduces the margin of error.

I feel like the Canucks might lose this one before turning things around on Sunday.

The Avs defense has players like Zadorov and Johnson whose GA average isn't anything to write home about. They have the capability to score on the Avs right now. My main concern is how the defense will handle the likes of Nathan Mackinnon.

I actually want to see Green try to spread the scoring around by separating EP and Miller. They haven't been great together the last few games.

Gaudette-Miller-Toffoli

Roussel-EP-Virtanen

Pearson-Horvat-MacEwen

Motte-Sutter-Eriksson

Miller can play center.

Roussel and Virtanen can apply pressure via forecheck and EP can make plays.

Forward depth is one of our strengths, the opposition now has 3 lines that they have to contend with rather than 2 lines.

Would be worth a shot.

Most coaches switch things up after a 4 game losing streak.

My guess is we’ll see the exact same lineup because we played good.

Forget the fact that Pettersson has looked pretty ineffective 5 on 5 for awhile now.

Moj said he noticed something going on with Petey’s hip in the room after one of our recent games.  Sounds like Petey could be playing hurt.

Wouldn’t be surprised, he’s getting manhandled every game with no pushback.

Green has allowed it to be open season on him and of course teams are going to take advantage.

Unless Green changes his forecheck then we will get destroyed by teams with a lot of skill.

This is the thing.  If miller isn’t on the ice there is no forecheck.

we play dump and chase and then flyby in to offzone.

there isn’t a dman in the league that fears our forecheck.

The fly by stick reach no body on body plays are just bad hockey.  Why doesn’t Green sit guys who play like that?  Sutter is the worst!
