How 'far' has it gone?

If a kid out performs a vet. They play. It's really not that complicated. It's happened here loads of times under Benning and Green (contrary to all the whinging to the contrary). They're littered throughout our roster (with more coming).

Its getting some of the young players into the lineup consistently to show that they can be better than the vets that has been a problem.

What I like about Lind, he plays in the right places. Good shooting positions.

To bad he plays with Sutter and Motte who don’t know what that means.

Hughes has all the skills to be a top 6 forward ....... which he should be.  He's a crappy defenseman

Comments like this make me wish we never even got Quinn Hughes. He’s 21 freaking years old. You guys deserve nothing

Feels like QH is always trying to do something on every shift.  And its biting him in the arse every time.

it's one of the things he'll probably acquire with time - not trying to force and cheat the game all the time.

on the other hand don't want to rein him in too much - it's great to have a guy that's always looking to push the pace.  Actually great to have two guys back there like this - Schmidt is also an excellent transition guy - always moves the puck as quickly as possible - bites him in the ass sometimes too, but wouldn't change it.

Toronto idea of a forecheck: dump in the puck, send in forwards skating in fast to pressure D, turnover the puck and make the Nucks struggle in their own end. Canucks idea of a forecheck: dump in the puck, send in two guys skating slowly who watch the leafs skate out past the fore checkers standing still on the circles, watch puck and the backsides of D advancing into the Canuck zone.
