Here is my take:

Hoglander

Podkolzin

Demko

Garland

The only ones who look like they actually give a &^@# out there.

Motte, Burroughs and Hughes all played well.  Petey had some life without Miller and Boeser.  Garland has much more speed than Boeser and fits better with Petey, and Podzilla looks like a good power forward compliment to that line.  Green tried it out for a shift, realized how good it looked so decided to break it up.  Green is the anti-coach.

Im sick of over passing no movement PP.

Hughes to Pettersson to Hughes to Pettersson to Hughes to Miller to Hughes to Miller to the other team. Cleared…..zero shots.

Just get the F’n puck to the crease and Bang it in Ugly.

Yes, it's almost like they're afraid to miss if they take a shot.   Very timid peripheral play from way on the outside.  No one has any family jewels to drive (to the net) on this team except Garland!

When are Pettersson, Horvat, Boeser going to find their game? It’s been way too long. 19 games in. We shouldn’t be saying anymore when they find their game or haven’t found their game. Their game should have been found. 19 games. I think it shows that this won’t be their year this year.

When was the last time you saw someone cut to the middle and take a shot?

So many low percentage perimeter shots. If you don’t go bar down it’s over the net and out of the zone.

It’s unbelievable we keep trying the same strategies that aren’t working.

So I know these are sky's are falling kinda times but you gotta look at that and see we were the better team by a mile, it wasn't even close. Faster, more skilled, better special team.  Speaking of which 2nd game in a row without giving up a goal on the PK :bigblush:. Well you know, at least we actually killed a few this time. If the team can continue to build of these last 2 games and gain some confidence that could start getting into some form.

Podz looking like more of a beast game by game - if Green the Fool would actually keep him on a consistent line for 5 mins then i'm sure he would look even better.  The Miller, Garland, Podz line looked beast mode for a couple of shifts until they reunited the whiff it stumble bro's line.

Now the not so rosey news is the Brock and Petey both look like they would be better off not on the ice right now.  Those kinda games where your up against a real hot goalie you need your elite scorers to be just that - and they weren't.  The even worse news is this team is kinda built like that. If we can't score a handful of highlight reel goals or get some goalie mistakes a night we aren't going to win as we don't have the players to score the greasy kind goals that CHI scored tonight.

More to that - not really sure where this team can go even if it can keep the turn around going. Petey and Brock haven't turned around 'bad' seasons before - and have shown no signs at all of doing so thus far - Soo i think the best we can do is like a 10-15 pick.:frantic:

Motte and Burroughs were ok. But they usually are. Hughes is just not really generating anything anymore. He is not as bad defensively as he was last year but he is not as good offensively either.
