I never said it was a proper offer, I'm stating the difference between projects and prospects. That’s sort of what I’m hoping for when we trade him too. I’m hoping the return is a young player, prospect, or high draft pick. Then that one asset can develop into a player as impactful as Miller, regardless of position. We should focus on filling one hole with a high ceiling asset instead of filling several holes with 23-27 year old guys. One I hope to see rectified sooner than later (I've been harping on about it for MONTHS). But once again, that's a management problem, not an OEL (or his contract) problem. They need to build a better, more cohesive D core around Hughes and OEL. We don't need to ditch OEL. That's bass -ackwards. The guy is a stud. The team will look a lot different next year, I think, but they'll be a bit younger and it'll be exciting hockey. Really looking forward to Kuzmenko.
