He's been here his whole career, has developed close friendships and I think he wants to win here. He probably takes a lot of pride in being a leader on this team and wearing the C. Maybe he's not as outspoken as his American friend who wears #9, but he cares and he wants to win. Bo is great at faceoffs, not just good. Making under $6, the Canucks would also be nuts to trade him. I'd guess he would take a pay cut to play here, more so than Miller.

Moving Miller now is the right thing to do as an organization. Take off the homer hat orr googlie eyes for JT and realize we could get some quality assets back that could help us down the road when we are ready. JT is our best player right now, but all it takes is 1 injury to reduce his trade value or if we lock him up long term where will the $ be to sign the younger core players... Just hope the GM doesn't screw up the return! 1

Not going to slag miller who is a playoff warrior and has 18 points in 17 games as a canuck. But Bo is and always has been a playoff beast even before he came to the NHL. His run to the 2013 memorial cup was the stuff of legends! He scored 16 goals in 23 games the last of which was the game-winning goal with 0.1 seconds left to play in Game 7 of the OHL finals. Horvat received the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award for the most valuable player in the OHL playoffs. 1

It is the Canucks. He will get a season ending injury before they pull the trigger on a trade. We will then see a much lesser player from another team get the same return we have been talking about. 3 1
