if last year did not happen Bo has more points per game than Miller; so I guess in a way you are right it isn't close.

Bo is the more valuable player.

thanks

Sure okay.

Unfortunately in contract negotiations you can’t just pick and choose which seasons to compare.

Would be nice but come back to reality.

It’s not what I say it’s reality.

Agents don’t negotiate by saying “let’s just ignore this players last season, then they’re equal, right?”

did you forget the part where you said this

" but offensively he’s not been close to Millers level of production."

then I provided numbers that clearly indicate Bo IS close to Miller's production, and is even better if last year is removed?

I didn't forget that.

Yes but you can’t remove seasons in comparisons just to fit your narrative. :picard:

99 points and 52 points are not close. Those numbers will 100% be part of any negotiation.

Miller- 637 games 169 goals 285 assists for 454 points    points per game   .712

Bo      572 games 170 goals 196 assists for 366 points    points per game   .639

Looks close to me,

wonder what it looks like if last year isn't in there?

Miller 557 games   137 goals 218 assists for    355 points or .637 ppg

Bo     487 games   139 goals  175 assists for   314 points or .644 ppg

It would seem that Bo is a very, very comparable player.

What are their FO %?

And you can't use an outlier year to make a determination that  " he’s not been close to Millers level of production."

Except you can’t call it an outlier until you see what he does next season.

No agent is seriously going to negotiate by calling a players latest season “an outlier”.

IF .. he’s traded ,

I think the Isles would take

Horvat ,Poolman & Rathbone = aprx 9m cap hit

for

JP Pageau and Noah Dobson. = aprx 9m cap hit

we get the same F/O percentage back out of JP, and that D hole filled.

Should be able to move Myers at TDL if not before.

He didn’t love him that much since he passed on the opportunity to draft him to trade for Cory Schneider.

Bo ain’t going anywhere. I hope this deal gets done soon so we don’t have to read a bunch of crazy trade proposals again…
