I wouldn't mind Risto, but not for a 1st. He also hasn't played well for a while, so is he just on bad teams or is he declining already? too much risk to burn a 1st again, if we're going to do that we can aim higher like Chychrun.

Just now, King Heffy said:

He's a tire fire in his own zone, and has been every season he's played.  Wouldn't sign him to that contract for free, let alone give up assets to do so.

I'd like to see him on a show-me kind of deal, he's been on such crappy teams its hard to know whats there. But it would have to be for expendable assets.

I think he is so overrated on this board by people.

He has been a minus player at every level, on every team during and prior to his NHL career.
I know it is not a great stat, and the Sabres sucked, and the Flyers suck but sometimes a player tells you what they are and Risto has spent a career telling us what he is, a bad defensive player with a lot of very tempting tools.

Brain..and Brain....WHAT IS BRAIN??????

As stupid and bad as this episode is. (Hard to believe it was written by Gene Coon under a pen name) It is still better than Star Trek Discovery and Picard. It does explain the writers and producers of the new series.

No thanks, but what about trading for the guy who got dealt in the Risto deal...Robert Hagg is a 26 yr old pending UFA making 1.6m. bottom pair LHD who can PK, not sure how well he can skate but I want to think he does play with a big of an edge and hits from time to time?

The fact you know this makes you a bit of a Trek fan.   Growing up watching this show with my Grandad in the summer many lazy afternoons, was one of the best parts of childhood for me.   First off they had cable.    And colour TV.
