Don’t want to end their careers. Just tonight’s game will suffice.

Meier's been enough of a problem that we'd be doing the league a service by ensuring he never rigs another game.  Having that criminal working for the league is a disgrace to the sport.

The 3 stars tonight will be the 3 with some of Linden's playoff DNA in them:

Demko

Podkolzin

Horvat

These guys were built for playoff games

With a 50 save win tonight Demko should be all three stars.

So does that mean those players can't come back for 10 games? Also, isn't that cap circumvention against the spirit of the rules? No way those 3 are injured. What happens if Stone gets injured again?

I know! I'm hoping the NHL and or other teams are looking into this.

CapFriendly explains this way................

What is LTIR?

When a player has an injury of which they are expected to miss a minimum of 10 NHL games and 24 days in the NHL season, the team can place them on long term injured reserve (LTIR). LTIR can be used to exceed the salary cap. LTIR is a very complicated aspect of the NHL operations and the vast majority of details are not specified in the CBA.

Probably less than that, as I’d expect it’s retroactive LTIR.

I think those players have already been injured for 5,6, and 7 games, respectively.

So, as long as the proper paperwork was done, they should be able to backdate the 10 games/24 days for LTIR to the date each player was originally injured.

Then again, it’s Vegas. Paperwork isn’t exactly their forte. Just ask Dadanov. ;)

WINNING WAYS

Turning aside 35 of 37 shots on Apr. 9 at SJS, Thatcher Demko became the first Canucks goaltender since Roberto Luongo (31 W) in 2011-12 to win 30 games in a season. Demko is the sixth goaltender in Canucks history to earn 30 wins in a season, joining Roberto Luongo (6x), Dan Cloutier (3x), Kirk McLean, Alex Auld and Gary Smith.

GOAL CHASER

Collecting two points (1-1-2) on Apr. 9 vs SJS, Alex Chiasson registered his consecutive multi-point games (2-1-3 on Apr. 7 at ARI) for the first time in his career. With four goals in his last five games, Chiasson also reached the 10-goal mark for the sixth time in his career.

J.T. GOING ON 30

With a career-high 29 goals so far this season, J.T. Miller looks to join Bo Horvat as the second Canuck to reach 30 goals. The last time multiple Canucks recorded 30+ goals in a single season was 2010-11 when Daniel Sedin and Ryan Kesler each scored 41.

RED HOT HORVAT

Bo Horvat scored twice (2-1-3) on Apr. 7 at ARI to record his first career 30-goal campaign and became the first Canucks player to reach the mark in a season since Radim Vrbata in 2014-15 (31). Bo is the 31st player in Canucks history to score 30 goals in a season. Horvat now has 13 goals in his last 16 games, which is t-3rd in the NHL since Mar. 9.

QUICK ON THE DRAW

Winning all 17 face-offs he took on Apr. 7 at ARI, Bo Horvat ranks t-3rd in the NHL for most face-off wins in a single game with a 100% success rate since 1997-98.

KILLER INSTINCT

Going 4-for-5 on the penalty kill on Apr. 9 vs SJS, the Canucks improved to 27-for-30 (90.0%) on the kill since Mar. 20, ranking third in the League during that stretch.

EXCEPTIONAL ELIAS

Collecting a goal and two assists in a 5-1 win on Apr. 7 at ARI, Elias Pettersson registered his 51st career multi-point game. Since his NHL debut in 2018-19, Pettersson trails only J.T. Miller for most multi-point games (55) by a Canuck.

PHYSICAL FORCE

Led by Kyle Burrough's nine hits, the Canucks recorded a season-high 45 hits on Apr. 6 at VGK, which is tied for the most hits in a game by Vancouver (also Nov. 27/19 at PIT) since the NHL began regularly tracking hits in 2005-06.

LAMP LIGHTER

On Apr. 6 at VGK, Pettersson (2-2-4) recorded his 14th career multi-goal game (fourth this season). Since his League debut in 2018-19, the only Canucks skater with more multi-goal efforts is Bo Horvat (15).

MILLER TIME

Netting his team-leading 29th goal of the season on Apr. 3 vs VGK, J.T. Miller became the third-fastest player in franchise history to record 200 points, joining Pavel Bure (174 GP) and Alexander Mogilny (179 GP) as the only other players to reach the milestone in under 200 games.

RECENT CANUCKS MILESTONES

4-1 Canucks, hopefully Podz nets one for the effort he's been putting in, due for some puck luck.

Won't matter if they beat us tonight. We'll be done and they'll fine them $2k.

That being said, we won't lose, not on CFK telethon night.

This is why you call someone up from the minors to do it.  These crooks need to be in fear for their personal safety until they start acting like professionals.  Intimidation works.

You really think a player is gonna risk their career over that. Have some more koolaid buddy.
