Crabcakes
Meh, Torts might be a good fit in Philly. The sort of hard ass that everybody might respond to.

He’s a core-buster, hot-head & incapable of doing the right thing long-term by his players. He’s someone with no diplomacy. He does not ‘always’ demonstrate mutual respect with each & every player upon his teams, nor answer to “all” persons who may be covering him in the media. He seems to be a bit of a narcissist who can easily invite drama, be vindictive or blow a gasket, at any time. Let him & his legacy depart into the graveyard of yester-year’s most infamous coaching careers. He’s done like dinner! Tortellini is a coach that gms hire to punish there team for underperforming. 1

They need to learn to play big boy hockey and Torts is the man to do it. IMHO. He would ruin that team. Florida just needs playoff experience. Torts, like Trotz is a coach who expects guys to all play the right way (with and without the puck) especially the top minute guys. Torts uses words like “stopping” and being “stiffer” on pucks. He demands that from his players. Florida has a lot of soft players, who are way too easy to play against. Sam Reinhart is a prime example. Torts (or Trotz) would be excellent coaches for the Panthers.

But they gotta hope their coach picks it up too. Coach Beuch was a heck of a playoff player, but coaching on the fly is a different animal. There's nothing wrong with a coach being demanding bit when your doing thing like he did to Hansen then you've crossed the line way across. If I were gm back then torts would have been fired after the game. Especially a hard working team guy like Hansen. Torts is a do*ch. Trotz is not like him at all. 1 3
King Heffy
Torts is exactly what a team like Toronto or Edmonton needs. Hold the floaters accountable and anyone who still isn't willing to commit to winning will request a trade.
