Yeah, when Benning let Brackett go that spelled the end of our good drafting. Even players like Rathbone weren't misses, imagine if he had developed under the same staff we have now 3 years ago? And not just him but Gadjovich, Lind, Woo and many others. The picks were right but the development was so so wrong. Letting Bracket go was the a huge mistake. I heard Brackett was the one of the few scouts hammering his fists on the table for Pettersson and Benning wanted Glass. Fortunately Brackett won. All the hand wringing on cdc about him is over the top. I am really happy to see he has found his stride. He is so young and has a bright future.
