Popular Post AV.
Yep. Just another day in the office for Mr. Treliving. Salvaging the off-season, all things considered. You would have to think the Islanders will circle back on JT Miller now. 7
Bure_Pavel
But Lou had in signed a month ago, guess they needed a dirt bag to replace the one they lost. Edited August 18, 2022 by Bure_Pavel
Popular Post N4ZZY
wow. I guess I didn't expect this, and yet at the same time, I did after they lost Tkachuk. He's going to be a pain for the Canucks. That Calgary team and organization rebuilt themselves quite nicely after the Gaudreau and Tkachuk fiasco in my opinion. They look like a competitive team now again, compared to just a few short weeks ago. 1 9

His team is going to suck, and he's probably going to be fired as GM by the end of the season, or maybe even sooner than that.

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Just like that CGY effectively replaces the skill lost in Gaudreau with Huberdeau and the grit from Tkachuk for Kadri. CGY looking very strong down the middle with Lindholm, Kadri, Backlund. 2

Shekky
insane they got there replacements older players though so there team is going to be trending downward over the next couple of years though. Popular Post Smashian Kassian
Treliving = GM of the year. Looked like they were headed for a rebuild, now look like they've improved.

Mackcanuck
Kadri will be 32 years old by the start of this season, will be interested to see how long the contract is? And Vintage right on cue with the term! He will be pushing 40 at the end of that contract Edited August 18, 2022 by Mackcanuck
BureBurrito
Flames have to offload salary now don't they? Treliving doesn't mess around - gets what he wants and doesn't panic under public pressure. Tkachuk was a haul and got one gritty player for another (Kadri) Canucks back to fighting for a wildcard again. Have to think they'll sell off this year to tank if Flames/Edmonton and one of LA or Vegas take the top 3 seeds.
awalk
Thank GAWD this off season got real boring real fast. I've always hated Calgary but gotta give respect where it's due... hell of a job salvaging this off season. They are better defensively and grittier, and they didn't lose that much offensive punch. With Markstrom in net, they are a cup contender with this lineup. 1
