A few of the victims now being identified.  A ****ing 77 year old?  Get these clowns either in prison or in a grave; I don't care which.

Damn..."loved cats and homemade jam". Just really hits home, sounds like my Dad. Everyday people just going about their daily lives snuffed out by random violence. I have little patience for the perpetrators....if one was unlawfully at large in May, there's an issue right there.

Our system needs an overhaul and to think of the victims and their families first, not the damn maniacs.

Tough to understand how you can try to take another person's life. I've been in fights way back when, Never wanted to actually see the person hurt. Crazy how people can run around and do stuff like this. Imo, You take a life.. Zero chance of getting yours back. You shouldn't even get to sit in a cell either. Put their ass to work

Any updates?

Have they been seen?

Anyone got a timeline of events? Such a high number of fatalities for knife attacks, very sad and gruesome.

25 victims over 13 locations if I have the facts right and they still got away. Crazy.

Time to quit playing nice with cold blooded killers. Re-instate the death penalty for 1st degree murderers. Waste of time and money trying to rehab them.

Right, because mistakes never happen. I know folks are upset right now, and rightfully so, but this is a horrible idea.

Quote

Saskatoon police confirm that they've been searching for James Smith Cree Nation suspect Myles Sanderson since May.

That's when the 30-year-old stopped meeting with his parole officer and was classified as "unlawfully at large."

Sanderson had been serving a nearly five-year federal sentence for assault, robbery, mischief and uttering threats. He made parole, and then disappeared.

We shall agree to disagree. The police know who the suspects are as well as a multitude of witnesses and survivors. The death penalty needs to be in place for these animals.

You are kidding?

Many innocent people are dead and seriously injured. This happens far too often. Look at all the people who were killed in Nova Scotia because of some insane killer.

And this isn't even the States.

I don't give a hoot what you think about my response, but people like that need to be put to sleep.

In this case yes, but you can't deny people have been wrongfully convicted and murdered. That must never be allowed to happen.

Very sad story made worse by this news. If police have been searching for this pair since May that means that more than a few people have probably been harbouring them and helping them evade arrest. The blood on the hands of those who aided and abetted won’t wash off so easily.

So you're willing to put people "to sleep" and if you make a mistake then that's just the cost of doing business?

Then perhaps there needs to be a higher standard set for the death penalty but it still needs to be an option for mass murderers like these two.

Data have shown it is literally a waste of time and money trying to push a death penalty through compared to a life sentence.

I don't know about you but would advocate life in solitary confinement without parole instead of death penalty for these people. Sounds like a way harsher punishment then getting off quick through death.

So I link sources backing up my position and you offer a confused argument based on your feelings? or the primitive need for payback?  I want to point out that you are the one attacking my character by calling me a troll so by definition you are the troll.

The point is, this particular case, and many others, they are cut and dry.

Are you saying these scum sucking pigs should be given a fair trial?
