Maybe they are trying to pressure ownership into paying 3 coaches this year. 

 

Its an excuse. The annoying part is, JR will bring in a pliant coach. One that will listen to him. So it probably won't be any of the names that this fanbase would want. It will be the Patrik Alvin of coaches.

Really terrified they'll let Yeo have the head coaching job if Boudreau is fired.  The franchise cannot handle the devastation that scum bag would cause; it's bad enough to even allow him in the locker room

This isn't new, he said essentially the exact same thing at the end of last season regarding the style of play and accountability.

There is no NHL coach that can bring this roaster to the play-offs, I think.

If the owner is not ready for a long rebuild, nothing will work.

He also said that the players need to be held accountable and that they might have to do something to get their attention.  It certainly wasn't a glowing review of Bruce but I got the sense that it's the players who will feel the brunt of this (for now anyway).

So he threw the coach under the bus in the media last year too eh. He hasn't figured out that he's in a Canadian city yet

Rutherford needs to be held accountable himself. Didn’t he say that our defensive corps was not up to par, and that he would be shaking things up before the season started? What did he do exactly? Overpay for a 7th defenceman in Stillman?

Yeah, because another coach is gonna come in and save the season from a coach who came in and tried to save the season from another coach. 

 

Sooner or later it's on the guys in the room, until management decides on which direction they want to go I doubt it'll matter who's behind the bench.
