My bad. Thought you meant good for Aquilini.

It's very hard, if not impossible, to defend ownership. JR had a clean slate to infuse the front office staff with expertise. Instead, we hired a lot of inexperienced people to man the ship.

Rookie executives and assistant GMs.

The disagreed on the how the rebuild would proceed, implying that all believed it was a rebuild, which it was.

“Rebuild” seems to mean something a little different to everyone.  What most people are meaning by “rebuild” the Canucks have not even begun to do at any point.

I can’t believe how you continue to post in denial. Remember a week before Benning got canned how certain you were that he wasn’t going anywhere? Just eat it and accept you’re wrong.

Edit. Forgot to mention when he ultimately did get fired you were absent from here for quite a while.

Whatever Linden’s vision was — and he was viewed as the voice of reason when it came to patiently rebuilding like the Winnipeg Jets —ownership didn’t see it his way. Linden was heading into the final year of his contract.

Linden wanted the right kind of rebuild. Aquilini wanted a patch job.

and he Still does.

Would anyone feel good if this ownership group won the cup? I almost have a hard time supporting them as owners. Aquilinibjust seems so greedy and greasy. Something about this group that rubs everyone the wrong way. How can you continue to support a retool when it's shown that it hasn't worked. He wants money.

Man OEL is absolute garbage. First three goals he’s literally standing beside the net not checking anyone. Most useless player in the nhl.

OEL is the prime example of why the NHL need a minimal performance clause so teams can get out from a player that doesn't even try anymore.
