So we pretty much paid a drop from round 2 to round 3 to dump 5.2 mill of Dickinson's contract.

Amazing work.

AND we got the hilarious misadventures(& surely coming nostalgia) from Stillman's antics. Was such a huff 'round here for months too. Folks need appreciation & patience!

February 27th 2023 and it's already Blooming in Canuckland

I feel like most of us would have preferred to just give away RS and yet PA got us a prospect that might actually turn out decent. Maybe he can add a few pounds and who knows. Decent bottom six guy.

Great trade on it's own merit.

It also further depletes our D core, which will help the tank. If we can trade 2 more D-men and a goalie, we will be set.

Depletes d core or adds cap space? Depends which way you look at it. Addition by subtraction really.

I was of the opinion that management had done a middling job thus far

That changed today, a pox upon them and their descendants, let them be cursed to never experience happiness

You're going medieval on his ass

What a great trade!

Got cap off the books and acquired a promising prospect?

Good to see they’re willing to part with bad acquisitions quickly.

Is what I’d say if/when the Miller trade happens.

:bigblush:

He’s signed to an ELC though.

So we didn’t free up a contract.

I believe junior players don't count as a contract until they move to playing professionally. I thought I read @mll say something along those lines yesterday.

If that's the case, we have opened up a spot for this year, and possibly next if we leave him in the OHL.
