Fred65
This kid has some serious skill, with more opportunity (that will surely come next season hopefully as a top 6 forward) he is someone who could definetly break out and have a pretty big increase in his offensive numbers. There's little doubt this coming season is time for Cassels to show what he can bring. The fields open for jumping up the roster to a top 6 forward. His father had high end hockey sense lets hope it's genetic

Angry Goose
Really think this kid is going to be a steal for the Canucks. Smart player and if he continues to be strong on the puck and on his skates I think he will blossom into a coveted utility type guy for the Nucks. Plum
I really have high hopes for this kid, I don't know what he can improve on other than maybe physical play.
HC20.0
I remember when I was little watching the Canucks, I always loved Andrew Cassels. I thought he was the coolest. I think I cried when he left for Columbus. I'm really looking forward to watching Cole and seeing how he does in the organization.
Derp...
He's got 4 goals so far in inter squad games in the generals training camp, no account of assists on their webpage. 1st goal was described as rushing the puck up the ice and tucking it 5 hole... beaut

Angry Goose
Lets just hope his development is handed properly. Yeah. I think with having his Dad help build the proper foundation, all he needs now is time to mature physically. From what I've seen he definitely has the hockey IQ to succeed. DeNiro
Hopefully he can get a letter this year. With alot of the older players moving on, I think he would be a good choice for an A.
Maniwaki Canuck
This guy definitely could be a sleeper pick: sandwiched between the two first-rounders and Subban, not as much hype, but with a lot of upside. Seems to play a slightly chippier game than his dad, but with some of the same skill- not a bad combination at all. We certainly have depth at centre in our system right now. Plum
He already probably is a top 5 prospect. 1. Horvat 2. Shinkaruk 3. Gaunce 4. Jensen 5. Cassels/Corrad
Joel Heyman
He already probably is a top 5 prospect. 1. Horvat 2. Shinkaruk 3. Gaunce 4. Jensen 5. Cassels/Corrad I wouldn't go that far. I'd have him in my top 20: 1. Jensen 2. Horvat 3. Shinkaruk 4. Corrado 5. Gaunce 6. Lack 7. Mallet 8. Hutton 9. Eriksson 10. LaBate 11. Andersson 12. Tommernes 13. Blomstrand 14. Subban 15. Cassels 16. Cannata 17. McNally (will shoot up if he does well again at Harvard, but losing last year dropped him a bit) 18. Lain 19. Polasek 20. Grenier
Joel Heyman
I'd say Myron is beginning to edge his way in there too.
Smashian Kassian
Was impressed by him yesterday. He will be playing on the 2nd line tonight with Jensen & Cain Franson so it will be a good opportunity for him. Will be exciting to see what he can do with those guys. austy
Had a bit of trouble on the pp accepting passes but his forechecking, defencce and face offs were pretty good
Pears
Cassels is my dark horse to make the team if he continues his play into the pre-season. He's quietly had two solid games.
