"I'm not going to overthink it. It's... how do you overcome it? You face adversity and you take it head on. There's no sense whining or crying about injuries. It's a good opportunity for young guys. It's a challenge, and they've got to accept it." - Green on injuries

This is why coach Green is great. He doesn’t let injuries be an excuse all the time. It’s a challenge for our young players to grow a thick skin and play through adversity just like all players do. Even the greats face adversity.

Guddy was -4 tonight. Total dog$&!#. So was Stecher, so yeah obviously whatever those two were doing wasn't working.

Hey but he's consistent right?

Nothing on the farm, so I guess they will have to get by with what they have.

Hutton and Gudbranson were -4.  Stecher -1.

When your this tired its the legs that take 20 minutes to get going. They are usually chasing the game by the time they get their legs! Its just the amount of games every other night now lets put some jet lag back in their. they are not going to start winning until they get some rest! Or play a very hang on and defend first period!

2.5 hour flight to play 3 games, and in the same time zone.  Nothing they can do about it anyway, at least there haven't been more injuries despite the heavy schedule.

Was at the game tonight. Watching Pettersson live is worth the price of admission. You don't appreciate him as much on tv as live. He makes plays every shift while avoiding getting his head crushed into the boards. Tape to tape passes. Subtle dekes.  Smart defensive positioning. And his goal live was electrifying. Wow!

Fantastic prospect. In 2 or 3 years he's gonna be one of the very best players in the league.

A fully healthy Jets team in their prime versus a depleted Canucks roster.

Gudbranson with a total of two hits tonight. Hopefully he rediscovers his physicality before the end of the season.

you have to think though if Guber starts a hittting war it would end badly for his team mates. Look at the difference between Lowery and Motte, Byfuglien and Stecher....

It could be starting something his team is not able to finish

entertaining game

markstrom is the most inconsistent goalie in the league like wow

jets are an elite team who toyed with the canucks for stretches of this game

Not really true on my opinion. To me he is very consistently mediocre.

Markstrom cost us a game with that gaffe pass for that Jets' first goal.   We had to play catch-up hockey since except for 1-1 and still bonehead plays by Markstrom.  Why is he a mentally weak goaltender?   Can't wait for Demko or Nilsson to come back from their injury.
