yep its fixed. i didn't watch the game but my friend did and was so angry at the calls too.

Well games like this one sure make me wonder.

And why not? It's a big business. Any edge they have to control the game, I'm sure they take advantage of.

I'll watch game 2. But its going to be like this all series I might just watch the WCF & be done with the playoffs this year. 

 

Its not enjoyable to watch. Feels like they really want that Boston / San Jose matchup.

Get over the officiating. I thought the canes got this far because they fought through adversity? They had that chance to show us why they're in the dance but folded trying to play bruins hockey. They fell in to the same trap the leafs did. There were questionable calls all night, for both sides, but to say it benefitted the bruins just isn't true. The canes pk failed them and rask is just the better goaltender. Maybe Brind'Amour will take watching videos more seriously and take a look at why his team was dissected tonight

Their special teams both pp and pk has been horrible all playoffs.

 

They had 17% pp and 81% PK coming in tonight.  

 

Those are terrible numbers.

 

And it only got worst tonight.

McAvoy will be back next game too, ain't gonna get any easier for Carolina. If they were gonna get a foothold in this series tonight would have been the time to do it.

The Knights got an apology as the series was over.....not exactly the same as a game 1 situation there bud.  They didn't try to play Bruins hockey...have you watched any Canes games? They play a fast, hard working and hitting game. They did that for most of the night and goaltending is the only reason it wasn't 6 to 1 after 2 periods. They were 3rd in hits in the regular season.  Two of three penalties were freakin garbage..then the refs let them off 3-4 after changing the game.  Bad reffing is a plague on this league.

Everyone who isn’t a Sharks or Bruins fan should boycott the SCF if that is indeed the match up. The officiating is beyond disgraceful at this point and fans need to take a stand in some way if they want a change

But right now looks like sharks bruins.

you have a good point. That's only way to force change but I dont see a big boycott coming. Difficult to get everyone on board.   

 

I'm not saying it's a conspiracy but it definitely is a problem.

I doubt I'll watch a full game after that display of officiating. I may switch over on commercials from other channels but I'm not wasting my time watching garbage calls like that. The game winning goal on the pp should have been a 4-on-4.

 

Thankfully, the World Championships is there to watch.

 

Plus I haven’t bought any NHL merchandise since the lockout; nor will I ever again!!!

i agree on that statement fully, but that one call was bull sh!t fully on the canes although it didnt impact the game, but hopefully better officaiting the next game, was terrible both sides.

EDIT: the Canes PP better  be better if they wanna win.

i agree the AVs Vs Sharks series was reffed really bad, holy hell i feel bad for colorado.
