For all this hate on Schaller, he's still a good 4th liner that'll kill penalties for us and be physical. We have players who are now bumped lower on the wrung, such as Virt, and again people will be up in arms if he is moved too. The main goal is to make the team stronger and this might mean that some players have to move on, such is life. I was hoping they were picked up because Utica should be filled with "up and coming prospects" and not with players who could not hold there jobs with the big club IMO. Benning decided to loan Gagner to Toronto because he didn't want Gagner to take ice time away from prospects.
