Nucks want to prove that they can hang with the big boys after floundering for most of the month. With both Alberta teams losing in regulation tonight there is pressure to capitalize. This should be treated like a playoff game. Every game from here on in is a play off game... the division is that tight. The train is moving now.....now go hammer those dirty, diving face lickers. J-23
These are the games where we need to dress the big guys, and play physical. Hopefully Green makes the right decision and puts Mac in. 1

No team is unbeatable, they played tonight in Alborta no? Tired, back up goalie...time for the Canucks to come out fast and kick their game up a notch and beat the ruins! We are fresh, no excuses for a lack of effort. Dump LE to the 4th line or press box please! Jake and Toffee should be our top 6 rw right now with EP and Pearson anchoring the left side They started their back up against calgary, we’re getting Rask. Smart move by their coach. DownUndaCanuck
This game is massive, more than worth the 2 points. Boston coming off a big, exhausting come-from-behind win against Calgary and are at the end of a back-to-back, Canucks are well rested and hopefully well trained. We've got a chance to jump back to the top of the Pacific with a win, but it's more than just that. The Canucks have played terribly the last 8 games, even (especially) in the wins. Our defence needs to tighten up and we need to crack strong defences and goalies offensively and maintain sustained offensive pressure on all 4 lines. The Bruins pose the best challenge of the league, and this is two teams currently with very different forms. Lose in a close game and we maintain where we are at the moment. Lose badly like we did last time and this team will be completely deflated. Win in any way and this team will be boosted into another winning streak. This young team feeds off good and bad energy very quickly, which is why this game could be pivotal for the games to come. Hope Green studied the Calgary game and gets the boys ready for this one. This game will all come down to coaching, special teams and goaltending.

canuck2288
One thing is certain, Bruins will target EP early. That’s their playbook the unknown is whether or not we will stand up as a team and return the physicality if we don’t stand up for each other AND we lose Green better be ready to get his a$$ in a cab 1 1 1

Popular Post canuck2288
If Green does not have the brains to dress McEwen over Loui he better get ready to get his a$$ in a cab as well Travis here are some free tips: - read above - put Tofu with Pearson and Bo - move Jake to play with EP and JT - Gaud, Motte and roussell - Sutter, Beagle, McEwen - stress the puck handler on the kill instead of a static 4 man box - dummy down the pp, shoot play for rebounds - try to play with only 5 skaters even strength - use a timeout when your lack of systems is causing the roof to cave in, they don’t carry over to the next game -when A tire fire is occurring in the defensive zone, dummy it down and focus on one thing and one thing only..get the puck over the blue line..even it it means icing. STOP with the d zone retreat movement under pressure - get deeper into the O zone before we attempt to circle at the high wall or attempt a pass back to the point, going 4 feet into the o zone and then stopping only results in a blue line turnover and hangs the d Man out to dry. Boston is bigger so we can not dump and chase. We can either chip and chase or make a quick pass with speed and get to the circle or low boards before we setup this is hockey 101 but it seems like Green can’t coach at this level you are welcome Travis, please print this and post it in The locker room Edited February 22, 2020 by canuck2288 3 2

Popular Post mikeyman109
This is the proverbial measuring stick game. We stunk it up in Boston last game against these guys. The team looked gassed in game 4 of a 5 game road trip. No excuses tonight. Boston at the end of road trip, second game in back to back, game in our barn. If Green plays Eriksson over Mac I dont know what to say. This is exactly the team we need to play him against. We got pushed around by Calgary last game we played them and we sat Bailey and Mac over Eriksson. Dont make the same mistake twice. Marky needs a bounce back game. That game against the Wild was excruciating. The second Wild goal was awful and the Stecher face goal was bad as well. We need some bounces tonight. Can Stech stop scoring on his own net please? This is going to be a playoff type game against a team that may be there in the final. If we cannot get up for this game and play with this team we are sorely lacking. We have the goal tending. I am not sold on our D. Fantenberg was performing well before he got hurt. Sad that the loss of a number 6 or 7 guy seems to have made such a big difference. Myers, Edler and Tanev better show up in this one.Hughes seems to show up in every game. Up front , i totally agree with everyone posting here saying Toffoli needs to play with BO and Pearson., He is their style of player. Put Jake Back on with Petey and Miller. They had some chemistry going and we need all of that we can get. Huge game, need the two points. Forget about retribution for the hit on Petey. Win the game and be prepared to fight through a bunch of Boston holds hooks and picks. GCG! 1 3
