      Not going to lie - been here since July and compared to Deadmonton this place rocks - so much to do and folks here love their Jets!!!

       

      Summer here last year was amazing - very hot and humid and there was something happening every night!!

       

      Yes its not Vancouver but it has quickly endeared itself to me in way Edmonton never did :)

      Yeah, if I had to choose between Edmonton and Winnipeg it's the latter for sure. Disclaimer: have been to neither and am judging based on the hockey teams each city has and the women I've met from them.

      Something is wrong with that Fla team.  They lack compete.  As the games get harder to play, too many of their players hide on the perimeter and fail to engage.  They, by all rights of roster, should destroy the Oilers, but they are getting destroyed.

    One thing I love about CDC - whether its Draft Day or Free Agency you can expect the armchair GMs to jump in and whine and complain how we overpaid etc while everyone else made out like bandits. CALM DOWN - let the season start at least

      Ufa day one I think everyone over paid. They almost always do. 

      Regardless of how many lockouts there are it’s the nature of the beast. 

      Vanek signed late and cheap and was one of the best deals in the league rarely if ever is that said about guys signing in the first day.

      Like today the analyst were already talking about just buying guys out in the last years lol and they just signed. 

      Owners/gms can’t control,themselves and Players/agents live for it.
