Duchene321
Do you think our upcoming prospects can compete with the rising stars in Calgary and Edmonton? Until benning finds us a stud, game breaking d-man, I think Alberta will return the ass whoopings we gave them the past 6 years
hatedkid666
We'll get Chynchrun next year, and we'll be set

cuporbust
Impossible to tell. Rebuild just beginning. Exactly. This isn't NBA and he's not lebran James. It takes an entire team

Shinkaruk_9
The 2007-2012 era wasn't known as the Kesler era, but rather the Sedin twins era. If this era is known as the Horvat era, we won't be a very good team IMO.
apollo
It'll be the sedin era until they retire and yes Horvat WILL win a cup in the sedin era =)
hsedin33
Horvat has played well, but let's not go off the deep end just yet. There are plenty of young players on other teams who are just as good or better.
CanuckofSteel
Yes they will, we will win a cup by the year 2020
Junkyard Dog
I'd rather call the next generation or the new core era. We should be shedding our old core as we bring the next one. It just started last season with Horvat.
Zuongo
I hope so....But what do we know. Would love Chynchrun on our team first.
homersexual
I think the question should be 'Will the Canucks win a cup in the Benning era?'
Heretic
So....I guess we've given up on the Sedin era already? http://forum.canucks.com/topic/369353-will-the-sedins-win-the-stanley-cup-before-they-retire/page-

Wilbur
So....I guess we've given up on the Sedin era already? http://forum.canucks.com/topic/369353-will-the-sedins-win-the-stanley-cup-before-they-retire/page-1 Yes, and the Horvat era apparently too. Let's just get rid of everybody this organization has because according to the OP it isn't as good as what the Oilers and Flames have. Horvat/Virtanen/etc <<<<<<<<<< McDavid so why compete? Just trade 'em. Better yet, we're not winning so why not just fold the franchise and we can all become Oiler fans, that would be much easier. Yeesh. MoneypuckOverlord
OH gosh, I hope so. It's a little early now to consider it the Horvat Era, since his might not start until the Sedins retire. That said, we still need true number 1 line players, which we don't have, we didn't draft any future 1st line players in the last 15 draft years, we also need to aquire an offensive dman or a Norris level dman to control our blue line in order for any hopes of winning a Stanley cup. Jaku
If the pieces of the puzzle fit... then yes we will see Horvats name on a cup at some point.

Brad Marchand
No, in fact, the next great superstar the Canucks draft, Konstantin Suckalotovich won't win a Cup here either.
