Baertschi had a lot more to play for last night, and it showed!

Baertschi was Cunningham's roommate when they played for the Portland Winterhawks

Now if we can just play the Coyotes 40 times a year, we'll be in business!

We're also undefeated with Labate in the line-up. Coincidence?

Bring up Pedan, trade a vet D man for a power forward who can score, then we are in business. Trade Tanev or Edler when they have value.

Try and Pizza bring a different dimension to this team because of their size and strength.

Pedan and Gud together would bring a similar dimension. Pedan needs a fair chance similar to what Weber was given last year.

The D needs to use their size to their advantage. Play physical and take the man when the hit is there.

Edler/Tanev and Skecher

Hutton and Biega

and losing arguably our two best players, at least to that point.

and having a horrble shooting percentage, not a great sv%, and "regression to the mean" on the way lol.

and getting less than we need from Baertschi combined with a very slow start from Eriksson.

and very little scoring from the blueline.

and losing a few bottom 6 as well - including perhaps our best forechecker in Dorsett, while Virtanen appears to have re-injured his shoulder and/or needs more time in the A.

Anyway, things could be worse, but the team imo is not as bad a projected by the majority, particularly the 'analysts'.

Still too early. The hard part is going to be the 2nd half of the season where we usually collapse. The last 2 years we had more padding to soften the fall, this year we are sleeping on the box spring and the floor is right below us.

Sbisa gets too much criticism on here. Last year he wasn't that great, but he was a young defenseman and they hit their peak at 29 on average, not at 26. He's got a long way to go and this year he's vastly improved his game.

If he continues the trajectory he's on and makes the amount of improvement between 2015-2016 season every year going forward we stole the Kesler trade especially with the added bonus of Sutter who continues to improve every game. I'm very impressed with Sbisa's obvious work ethic and his progress in his development he's done. He doesn't deserve the hate he gets.

Great timing for Sbisa to be coming into his prime.....just in time for him to be plucked in the expansion draft

I'd like to see what Pedan could do, but he'll be hard up to take a spot from anyone right now. The defense is a real strong area for the team right now with a balance of size and skill throughout.

Bo is ready to take lead of this team.  He put the team on his back tonight.

i like your optomism

but seriously, let's first seem him do this against one of the better teams

and then continue to do it with consistency

that is really the difference between a talented player (and if you make the nhl you are talented) and a great player

You'll see it soon enough.

Let's hope Burrows is playing like this at the trade deadline.

Burr seems to be making Bo and Baer better. I have a hard time seeing him shopped - unless the return is ridiculous.

Otherwise Bo and Baer's growth are more important than a third, or even a second for Burr.
